Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels Full Day - Private Tour $168
Itinerary
-
8:00 am: Our driver and guide will meet you at your hotel in HCM City center to begin the morning trip. We’ll visit the Independence Palace (also known as the Reunification Palace), a landmark designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace.
After the Independence Palace, our car will take you to admire beautiful French Colonial structures, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. Next, visit the War Remnants Museum, where you’ll find a vast display covering both Indochina wars.
-
12:00 pm: Lunch at a local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese dishes.
-
After Lunch: We’ll depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels (approx. 1.5-hour drive). Upon arrival, watch a short introductory video about the tunnels to understand their construction and how people survived under wartime conditions.
-
Tunnel Exploration: Guided by your tour guide, explore the remaining tunnel systems, including special living areas with kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. See hidden trap doors and dangerous traps used for security during the war.
You’ll also have a chance to taste tea and cassava, which were staple foods for guerrillas during the war.
-
Optional Activity: Relax or try shooting a real gun.
-
Return to HCM City: After the Cu Chi Tunnels, our car will take you back to HCM City and drop you off at your hotel in the city center.
-
End of Tour: Concludes the Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels 1-day tour.
